Situated in the southeastern part of Rebun Island, Kafuka Port has been maintained since harbor construction work began in 1932. The port plays an important role in linking the island with Hokkaido by serving as a base for transporting daily commodities and shipping marine products ? the key industry of the town, as well as acting as the gateway to the island for sightseers.
